You sure make it look like a blast!
So let’s take it all in stride. You are the best mama you can be, and I’m the best mama I can be. We run the world and nobody can take that away from us.
I’m not any busier that any other mom. I sometimes get to shower and sometimes I don’t. I sometimes get to work out and sometimes I don’t. My hair is done, maybe, two days out of the week. Do I want to do these things? Sure, every single day, I want to. But I’m not having an emotional breakdown about it. Guess what? You shouldn’t either. Keep on Reading!
It’s what I like to call Onion Candy, but others may call them Caramelized Onions. It resembles nothing like the sweet onion it came from. It’s been slowly and lowly cooked in butter and balsamic glaze.
I’m standing over my kitchen sink with a 10″ frying pan in my left hand and a spoon in my right hand. Well, at least 60 seconds ago I was. I realized what I was doing and decided to take a second to collect my thoughts before SLAPPIN’ MY MAMA. Keep on Reading!
The donuts. If I didn’t provide you with any other reason, go for the donuts. If you’re any where near central Virginia, you must make a Saturday morning trip to the South of the James Farmers Market.

Pumpkins, sweatshirts, leaves, blankets, coffee and slow cooker meals. I’m so (secretly) excited for fall. We don’t have a ton of surfaces in the new home that aren’t in use, so I love to decorate our dining room buffet and table. We are a family of three and the dining room doesn’t get much use — we always end up at the kitchen table. I’m hoping that some welcoming and warming decor will do the trick and lure us in there more often.
If you like to DIY or craft in general, you’re going to love this quick and easy project! Plus it will only cost you around $15 for everything. Keep on Reading!
As a non-bread pudding eater myself, I urge you to try this recipe! You won’t regret it. In honor of the cool weather and my Dad’s birthday over the Labor Day weekend, I give you this hearty and sweet brunch dish. Keep on Reading!
Please consider donating to one of these organizations to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
Babies, mamas, and elderly affected by the recent hurricanes to hit the continent are in need of our support. Unfortunately, diapers and similar supplies are often not provided by rescue organizations. Diapers are a necessity – as a mom I can’t imagine being without them. These families have enough to worry about, it is our time to step up and help out all over the country.

When building our baby registry, we started off with the little checklist from the baby store. Guess what, they provide this list so they sell more stuff. Many of these items are just stuff and your baby may or may not use it. Keep on Reading!
We have recently decided to follow a grocery budget, so both Aldi and Lidl have become my best friends. I’m a longtime lover of all things Aldi and I’ve got some serious opinions. Do you shop at Aldi and/or Lidl? Okay, do you at least buy your staples there? They are popping up all over the country! The prices and quality are top notch. So if you’re not, I can’t recommend it enough. Keep on Reading!
